Based in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead we pride ourselves on providing the very best in motorcycle training. Each of our instructors has been carefully selected for their passion for motorbike riding and their professionalism. They will make your training both enjoyable and rewarding.
For every stage of your ERT journey we have a clean, highly maintained bike in our fleet. Our motorcycles and scooters include 50cc 125cc to 600cc and restricted 500cc (A2) motorcycles if you’re looking to train for a full UK licence. We provide the use of a bike and insurance for the road. We also provide the use of a helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproofs if needed.
We cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire offering courses that range from the Compulsory CBT all the way through to passing your bike tests. After CBT we offer comfort sessions according to ability. We then move on to the practical courses called Module 1 and Module 2. After passing your test we then offer advance training. For those wishing to return to biking after taking a break and wish to refresh their skills Back 2 Biking is the course for you.
The ERT Journey
CBT
The CBT is the minimum legal requirement every rider must complete to be allowed to ride a moped (50cc) and a motorcycle or scooter (125cc) with 'L' plates on the road. You can begin this from 16 years upwards.
View the CBT Step 1Comfort
Our Comfort Courses start at 50/125cc, this is the next step after the CBT for someone wishing to go on to take their practical tests and has had little or no experience. Comfort Courses encourage you to have confidence before taking your test, at 50/125cc, 400cc and 600cc levels. If you already have a licence but need to refresh your skills then Back 2 Biking is for you.
