  • A valid UK Driving/provisional photo card licence
  • If you have an old paper licence please bring your passport
  • Food and drink for the day
  • Jeans or thick trousers, sturdy footwear (no steel toe cap boots)
  • Please bring any equipment that you have but we will supply helmet, jacket, gloves, and waterproofs if not.
  • Some extra warm clothing may be needed through the colder months.
  • In the hotter months you must still cover up, so no shorts and t-shirts please.
  • Inappropriate clothing can result in your course being cancelled on the day.
  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses you MUST wear them on the day, as an eyesight test is a legal requirement.

Unfortunately you will not be able to attend the course and will have to rebook at full price. We ask you to be there for 7.45am to check licences, kit you out and eyes sight test. We start promptly at 8am and you must go through each of the elements to get your CBT certificate.

Yes you must bring all your documents:

    • Licence
    • CBT Certificate
    • Theory test certificate
If you forget your documents on the day of testing we cannot take you to test and you will forfeit the course and test fee.

To take part in any motorbike training or test you need to be able to read a standard UK car number plate at 20.5 metres or more. If you need to wear glasses or contact lenses for this, you will also have to wear them for the duration of the course. This includes if your licence states you need to wear glasses.

We can provide you with a safety helmet, motorcycle jackets, gloves and if required waterproof over trousers. Please arrive wearing a thick pair of jeans if you don’t have motorcycle trouser as a minimum. Ideal footwear are motorcycle boots however a boot with ankle protection is acceptable. You cannot train or test in trainers.

Our training school is in St Albans and we also have CBT centres in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead making us easily accessible for Harpenden, Luton, Stevenage, Watford, Hatfield or surrounding areas.

We always say if you listen to what we advise and do the test to the best of your ability, you will pass. Our current pass rate varies from 92% - 95% depending on time period.
